Chemical Peel Certification Course
This course is ideal for aestheticians looking to expand their clinical treatments
by adding Chemical Peels to their existing treatment offerings. Chemical peels
are a tried, tested and true method for:
- Reducing dead skin cell buildup and stimulating skin renewal
- Stimulating Fibroblast cells to increase the production of collagen and elastin
- Decongesting skin impactions and help to improve acne and congested skin conditions
- Helping to brighten pigmentation lesions and regulate melanocyte stimulation
- Stimulating Glycosaminoglycan production to increase extra-cellular hydration and much more!
Containing theory and practical components, this course will cover:
- An in-depth look at chemical peels including peeling ingredients and
their functions in the skin - Skin conditions and their treatment as they pertain to chemical peeling
- The Client Consultation, Determining Client Candidacy, Precautions
and Contraindications - Pre- and post-treatment guidelines, client homecare recommendations
- Compatibility with other facial modalities such as laser, microneedling,
dermaplaning and more
- An in-depth look at chemical peels including peeling ingredients and
A model will be required for the practical portion and examination. All students will give and receive a Chemical Peel treatment, and a student peel kit featuring GlyMed Plus Clinical Skincare products will be provided for additional practice outside of course time prior to the practical exam.

Pre-Requisites: Esthetics or Medical Esthetics Diploma Program, Foundations of Skin Levels 1 and 2, or other approved skin theory and facial programs course(s)
